Welcome to Troop 265's Website!

Troop 265 was established in 1972 and is chartered by Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas. The troop averages 50-70 registered scouts and has produced over 120 Eagle scouts.

We meet every Monday (except Mondays following the monthly campout or LISD holidays) at the Scout Hut at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1401 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028. For more information, or to schedule a visit, please use the Contact Us link on the left.

Winter Court of Honor

Our Winter Court of Honor will be from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Lamb of God Fellowship Hall on Monday, December 16th (replacing our Troop Meeting).  Because it's a shorter Court of Honor, we will not be having a meal.  See you there!

Merit Badge College Registration

The Topsanah District Merit Badge College is a chance to earn Merit Badges that a Scout may not have an opportunity to take otherwise. Scouts may sign up for three Merit Badges. Class sessions are for both Saturdays (Jan 11 and Feb 1). The cost per Scout is $23.00 which includes Merit Badge books and a patch. Registration closes on Nov 24th. Eagle Court of Honor for Andrew White

Scholarship Merit Badge – Starting this Fall

Now that the school year is underway, Lynne Cox will offer an opportunity this fall for interested Scouts to earn the Scholarship merit badge. The requirements are straight forward, but some counselor approvals are needed prior to beginning a couple of the requirements. For example, you would need a counselor and parent approval before interviewing two professionals for Requirement 2a. Twin Arrows

Greetings, Scouts!

On behalf of the Longhorn Council, the Twin Arrows Committee would like to extend an invitation to attend one of our 2019 National Youth Leadership Training courses at both Sid Richardson Scout Ranch and Camp Tahuaya. Twin Arrows is the premier youth leadership development course for the Boy Scouts of America within the Longhorn Council. It brings together youth leaders from all over the Council to learn and apply the skills they need to be effective leaders in their units.

This course draws upon the most current leadership models used by corporate America, academic circles, and successful outdoor leadership organizations throughout the country. This exciting and fast-paced training discusses team development and appropriate leadership strategies to enable teams and units to reach their highest performance level.
