Welcome to Troop 265's Website!

Troop 265 was established in 1972 and is chartered by Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas. The troop averages 50-70 registered scouts and has produced over 120 Eagle scouts.

We meet every Monday (except for LISD holidays) at the Scout Hut at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1401 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028. For more information, or to schedule a visit, please use the Contact Us link on the left.

Fall Court of Honor

Event Details:

Our Fall Court of Honor is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday August 28 in Gym at LOG. Please plan to attend to see our scouts get their Merit Badges from summer camp and recent Rank Advancements. Information about the potluck dinner will be coming closer to the date.

Pilot Knoll campout

Location: Pilot Knoll campground, Highland Village

This is a great, local, campout with a great lake view that will allow scouts to work on patrol activities as well as access any family activities in the area and still make the campout.

Longhorn Council Canoe Race

Location: Worth Ranch

Event Details:

Camping at Worth Ranch and canoeing down the Brazos river for 6 miles. All signups for this event need to be done by Monday Aug 29. If you did not get a swim check done at summer camp please note this when you sign up so we can arrange to have one done before you get on the river.

New Citizenship in Society Merit Badge

On November 1st, BSA announced the launch of a new Citizenship in Society merit badge that encourages scouts to explore important topics around diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical leadership and learn why these qualities are important in society and in Scouting. Beginning July 1, 2022, the Citizenship in Society merit badge will be required for scouts to earn their Eagle Scout rank.
