Welcome to Troop 265's Website!

Troop 265 was established in 1972 and is chartered by Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas. The troop averages 50-70 registered scouts and has produced over 120 Eagle scouts.

We meet every Monday (except for LISD holidays) at the Scout Hut at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1401 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028. For more information, or to schedule a visit, please use the Contact Us link on the left.

Bartle Summer Camp Sign Up is HERE!

Believe it or not, it is time to sign up for Summer Camp 2022.   Troop 265 must submit our Session and Camp request with appropriate head count and deposits by mid November.

A $75 deposit is required to secure a spot at Camp.  The deposit deadline is November 10th, as we must send the deposits in order to obtain our reservation.

Please sign up here if you would like to attend Bartle Summer Camp.  We are requesting Session 2 June 23rd-July 2nd, 2022.

Winter Court of Honor, January 31st

Summit Rock Climbing Campout Jan 29th

This is the A plan campout for January. The fee is 20$ per camper. Note a waiver will need to be signed.

Top Shot Shooting Campout March 11-13

Take a shot at this friendly competition between your fellow scouters to find the top marksman in our numerous amounts of shooting galleries.  Bring the whole family out as you enjoy a full day of adventures in the carnival style games around camp while you wait for your range reservation to start.  Learn the safety of hunting by one of the professionals from the Texas Park and Wildlife.  Scouts will have the opportunity to do any of the following: Rifle, Air rifle, Shotgun, Muzzle loading, Chalk Ball, Archery, Mountain Man Archery, Sporting Disc Archery, Tomahawk, Hatchet

New Citizenship in Society Merit Badge

On November 1st, BSA announced the launch of a new Citizenship in Society merit badge that encourages scouts to explore important topics around diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical leadership and learn why these qualities are important in society and in Scouting. Beginning July 1, 2022, the Citizenship in Society merit badge will be required for scouts to earn their Eagle Scout rank.
